Whether for property development, renovations, risk management, or environmental conservation, removing damaged or obstructive trees is crucial for safety and efficiency. At Arbor Operations, our expert arborist services cover all aspects of tree care, not just removal.

Tree removal should be carefully considered, as it is a significant decision. There are several situations where removing a tree may be necessary:

  • When the tree is structurally compromised, diseased, neglected, or dead
  • If the tree has been damaged by storms or other natural events, impacting its stability
  • When the tree poses a safety risk to people or property, or if its roots create tripping hazards
  • When the tree causes damage to walls, pipes, or driveways
  • If the tree is damaging buildings or infrastructure
  • When the tree obstructs construction or renovation projects
  • If the tree is causing allergies or health concerns
  • When the tree’s roots are interfering with your property or plumbing system

Tree removals Gold Coast  | Our process

Trees come in various shapes and sizes and are found in different locations. That’s why our removal process is designed to be flexible. Whether it involves climbing and dismantling trees or using a crane to extract them from difficult areas, we have the right equipment and expertise to handle any challenge.

We typically deploy a team of tree removal specialists for larger, mature trees. This team includes a climber, a backup climber for safety, and two ground crew members. In most cases, our team can safely dismantle and remove large trees from a property in just a few hours.

Before beginning, the team will conduct a thorough on-site safety check to identify potential hazards or obstacles and plan the job accordingly. The climber will ascend the tree and set up the necessary ropes and lines. Once secured, they’ll use a chainsaw to carefully dismantle the tree, cutting it into manageable sections and lowering them to the ground crew.

The ground crew will then handle the removal of the green waste, using a wood chipper for larger timber sections. Once the canopy and branches are taken down, the climber may either continue dismantling the trunk from the top down or, depending on the available space, descend to allow the crew to fell the tree safely. The wood chipper processes the remaining green waste, which we will clear from the site.

Finally, the team will thoroughly clean up, ensuring the property is left in as good condition as before the work began.
