Sunshine Coast Tree Removal – Our Process

Trees come in many different shapes and sizes and can be found in various environments. That’s why our tree removal approach is flexible. Whether it involves climbing and dismantling trees (section felling) or using a crane for those situated in challenging locations, we have the necessary equipment and expertise to take on any task.

Our standard practice for larger, mature trees is to bring in a team of experienced tree removal experts. This team comprises a climber, a safety backup climber, and two ground crew members. In most situations, our crew can efficiently and safely dismantle and remove large trees within a few hours.

Before we start, the team conducts a detailed safety assessment on-site to identify any potential hazards or challenges and develop a strategic plan for the job. The climber will ascend the tree and set up all necessary lines and ropes. Once secured, they will use a chainsaw to meticulously remove the tree, cutting it into manageable pieces to lower them to the ground crew. The ground crew will dispose of the green waste, employing a wood chipper for larger sections of timber.

Once the canopy and branches are removed, the climber may either continue dismantling the trunk from the top or, if space permits, descend to allow the crew to fell the tree safely. The wood chipper will process the final green waste, which we can remove from the site, or you can retain it for mulch. We’ll also ensure your property is in the same condition as before we started the work.
